The General Secretariat of the National Authority for the Prevention of Chemical, Nuclear, Biological and Radiation Weapons of the Kingdom of Cambodia has hosted a workshop on better management of biosecurity in Southeast Asia of Project 81, Phase III. Collaborated with the European CBRN Center of Excellence (EU CBRN CoE).
Mr. John Jones, Project Director 81, Center for Excellence in Biochemistry, Nuclear Radiation (CBRN) of the European Union, presided over the opening ceremony of the National Seminar on Better Management of Biosecurity in Southeast Asia of the CBRN CoE Project 81-BIOSEC, Phase III. The workshop was attended by officials from the National Authority for Chemical Weapons, experts from the European Union and officials from relevant institutions. The main purpose of establishing this workshop is to provide participants with knowledge and skills about planning, creating training exercises to test the implementation of the law on biological security and incident management in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The opening ceremony of the workshop took place on Monday 5th February, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Phnom Penh.
